Sobre o jogo
The Village é um jogo de terror/suspense/ação onde o enredo se passa em um vilarejo, situado no meio de uma floresta.
Há dois modos de jogo, o Modo Horror e o Modo Intense.

*Modo Horror
Há algum tempo atrás, um rapaz foi visitar a 'Villa', e nunca mais voltou. Sabendo disso o protagonista desse modo vai atrás deste rapaz e de pistas deixadas por ele, ele então pega seu carro e segue em direção a vila, chegando lá ele entra na 'Villa' e seu único acessório é uma lanterna, que os jogos comecem!
PS: É possível achar algumas(poucas) armas na 'Villa', porém as criaturas são difíceis de matar.
Talvez a melhor opção seja correr...

*Modo Intense
Após o desastre na 'Villa' o governo mandou vários homens para invadir o local e acabar com tudo, após a limpeza de quase tudo na 'Villa' ainda restou a 'Carta do segredo' escondida em algum lugar da 'Villa', você então comanda um grupo de homens treinados, uma equipe pequena, porém bastante habilidosa, e você é o capitão desta equipe, e bem equipados vocês decidem invadir a 'Villa' e coletar a 'Carta do segredo' , haverão muitos homens armados dentro da Villa, mas isso não será um problema para sua equipe, será?

*Modo Rescue
Após a divulgação da valiosa 'Carta do segredo' vários grupos entraram em confronto com os homens do governo que estavam na 'Villa', e um grupo acaba conseguindo entrar e fazer alguns homens de reféns, o governo então decide chamar os FOE (Forças de operações especiais) os homens mais capacitados e treinados do país, porém no meio do caminho acontece um acidente grave no oceano e apenas você sobrevive, então com a sede de cumprir a missão você ignora a decisão do governo de abortar a missão e decide invadir a Villa sozinho e resgatar os reféns e resgatar os reféns.
